Is Apple Music Included In Other Services? (We Checked)

Apple Music is a fantastic service for anyone wanting unlimited access to a vast library of music, podcasts, and more.

However, it would be a waste to pay extra for the service if Apple Music was already included with another service you were interested in, wouldn’t it?

With that in mind, today we’re going to take a look at several other popular subscription services to let you know if any of them happen to include access to Apple Music.

Is Apple Music Included with Apple TV?

It can be a little confusing to talk about “Apple TV” because that term can mean a few different things.

There’s the Apple TV hardware; a physical device for playing your media – that’s not what we’re talking about today.

Then there’s the Apple TV software; an app included with iOS and macOS through which you can purchase and stream individual videos and channels. The software called “Apple TV” is what we’re talking about today.

And to answer the question, the Apple TV app does not come with a subscription to Apple Music.

What About Apple TV Plus?

Apple TV+ is a subscription service, while Apple TV (without the +) is an application.

The subscription service known as Apple TV+ is a separate service from Apple Music and subscribing to one does not give you access to the other.

They are bundled together along with other services in the subscription bundling service called Apple One, but more on that in a bit.

Is Apple Music Included with Verizon?

Verizon is a major cellular service provider which supports both iOS and Android phones on its network.

Both Apple and Android smartphones can use the Apple Music app, but simply having a Verizon phone does not grant you free access to Apple Music.

Is Apple Music Included with Prime?

Amazon Prime is a subscription service that provides fast, free shipping for purchases on Amazon.com as well as access to a video streaming service.

It is a separate service from Apple Music and the two are sold separately.

Interestingly, Apple Music is compatible with Amazon’s Alexa and Echo dot.

Is Apple Music Included in Apple One?

Apple One is a subscription bundling service that bundles Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and iCloud into one.

The Premier version also includes Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+.

Apple One is not a distinct service in and of itself, but merely a means of bundling several other services together so you can pay for them all at once, at a cheaper price than paying separately.

So, yes, Apple One does in fact include Apple Music. Apple Music is one of several services you get access to with a subscription to Apple One.

This makes Apple One a sound choice for you if you use several Apple subscription services, including Music, and want to save money and time by conveniently bundling them all together.

Is Apple Music Included with PS4?

The Play Station 4 is a video game console developed by Sony.

The Play Station 5 features an Apple Music app, so you can access your Apple Music account and listen to music from your PS5.

However, the PS4 doesn’t seem to have ever gotten official support for Apple Music.

There are workarounds to allow access to your Apple Music content on PS4, but no officially supported methods that we know of.

Neither the Play Station 4 nor 5—nor any video game console for that matter—includes a free subscription to Apple Music.

While some consoles may allow you to use Apple Music on them, you still need to actually pay Apple for a subscription in order to use the service, on any device.

Is Apple Music Included in Family Sharing?

Apple Music does, in fact, have a Family plan that allows you to share the benefits of an Apple Music subscription with several other individuals.

This is a separate tier of Apple Music subscription that costs more but can allow you to save money if you split the bill with others in your household.

If you use Apple Music through an Apple One bundled subscription, you must purchase the Apple One Family tier to get access to Apple Music’s family sharing.

Is Apple Music Included with T mobile?

Like Verizon, T-Mobile is a major provider of cellular phone service. And just like Verizon, T-Mobile does offer phones capable of using the Apple Music app.

However, just because their devices are compatible with Apple Music does not mean you get a free subscription just for having a cellular plan and a compatible phone.

You must still pay for an Apple Music subscription, either directly or through the Apple One bundle.

Is Apple Music Included with iCloud+?

iCloud+ is a subscription service that allows you to store a large amount of data in Apple’s “cloud.”

This means that your files are stored in Apple servers that you can access remotely with an internet connection.

iCloud+ is a separate service and does not include a subscription to Apple Music.

However, both Apple Music and iCloud+, along with several other Apple services, are bundled together in Apple One.

Any Other Services that Include Apple Music?

As far as we can tell, the only way to get access to Apple Music as a bundle with other services is through the Apple One subscription bundling service.

However, there is one honorable mention in the form of Apple Music’s Student Plan. This plan requires one to submit proof of attendance at an accredited institution of higher education.

In exchange for doing so, students get Apple Music at a heavy discount of only $5.99 per month.

The student deal also includes an Apple TV+ subscription as a free bonus.

Other than the Student Plan and Apple One, however, there doesn’t appear to be any other way to bundle Apple Music with other services.
