Noise Cancelation Problems

If those steps don’t work, try resetting the headphones by pressing and holding both volume buttons for 10 seconds until the indicator light blinks twice (once every second). Then connect your headphones to a power source and press and hold both volume buttons for 10 seconds until you hear a beep followed by two beeps in succession.
Some other options are:
- Check the battery life. Some noise-cancelling headphones use rechargeable batteries, while others rely on disposable ones. If you’ve been using your headphones often, it may be time to change out the battery. Check the manual for instructions on how to do this.
- If you have a pair of Bluetooth headphones that won’t turn on or connect, try pairing them with another device (like your phone) and then reconnecting them with your computer. This can reset any issues that might be causing problems with the connection.
Your AKG Headphones Aren’t Holding a Charge

What If The Charging Port Is Broken?
The charging port is damaged or broken might be broken.
If you have tried charging your headphones with no luck, then it may be time to replace the charging port on your unit.
This component is typically found on the right earpiece and can be replaced by any certified repair technician in most cases.
Headphones Not Playing Audio
If you are having trouble with your headphones not playing audio, there are a few things that could be causing this.
First, check to make sure that your headphones are plugged into the correct port on your computer.
If they aren’t playing audio through the computer, then you may need to check for damage on the wire or plug itself.
If you’re using a USB port and your audio isn’t working, it may be because you aren’t using the proper drivers for your device (you can find these online).
What to do if it’s damaged or broken:
- Damaged Cables or Jacks – You might have damaged your headphones by using them with other devices or by dropping them on the floor and damaging the cables or jacks. If this is the case, then you will need to replace them.
- Broken Headphones – The most common cause of broken headphones is when they break from wear and tear or use. There are also other causes such as dropping your headphones on the floor and breaking them or accidentally sitting on them while wearing them (which can also damage their cables). If your headphones are broken and cannot be repaired, then you will need to buy new ones.
Headphone Volume Is Low
If your headphone volume is low, it could be due to several different reasons.
First, make sure that your volume controls are turned up high enough so that you can hear what’s going on in your game or movie.
Another thing that could cause low volume is if there is something wrong with the wire itself or if there is something blocking the sound from coming through clearly.

One Speaker Works but the Other Speaker Does Not
If you only hear sound from one side of the headphones, it could be due to several issues.
The most common of these is that the wire has become disconnected from one side. If this is the case, try pushing the wire back into place.
If that does not work, try unplugging and reconnecting both ends of the wire.
If you still experience no sound from one side, then you may need to replace your speaker.
Headphones Won’t Connect to a Bluetooth Device

If you still can’t connect after following these steps, try resetting your headphones by pressing their button for five seconds until they turn off completely then press again until they turn back on again (this can take up to 20 seconds).
Headphones Won’t Connect to a Wired Device
If you’re having trouble getting your headphones to connect to a wired device, first check to make sure that the headphones are charged.
If they’re not, then plug them into a power source and let them charge for at least 10 minutes before trying again.
If you’re still having trouble, try connecting them to another device and see if that works. If it does, then the problem is with your current device.
If it doesn’t work on any device, then there may be a problem with your headphones themselves. In this case, contact AKG support and ask them what they recommend doing next.
If you have an old model of AKG headphone and you have updated your phone or laptop to a newer version of iOS or Android operating system, then this could be one of the reasons why this problem is occurring.
The best thing would be to check if there is an update available for your phone or laptop so that you can install it and then see if this fixes the issue or not.
You can also try plugging in your headphones into another device such as an external speaker dock which might solve the problem right away.
The Headphone Earpiece Folds Out of Place
This can happen when you are wearing them or when they are stored in a case or bag.
It can also happen if you store them in a hot location such as your car on a hot day or next to a heater. T
he folding mechanism is designed to move into place when it is used but over time it can become stuck in an out-of-place position.
Here are two solutions:
- Try rotating the earpiece back into position using your fingers. If this doesn’t work, try using small pliers or tweezers to gently rotate the earpiece back into place until it clicks into position again. You might need to do this several times before it clicks back into place properly so be patient and keep trying until it works! You may also need to clean around the hinge area before trying this as dirt or dust could be causing an issue here too.
- Try not putting too much pressure on the earpiece when you’re putting them in your ear.
General Pros & Cons of AKG Headphones
- Quality sound – Most people agree that AKG makes good sounding headphones that deliver clear sound with good bass response, even at higher volumes.
- Durability – AKGs tend to be very durable because they use high quality materials and design features such as reinforced headbands, swiveling cups and replaceable ear pads (depending on model). Many users report having their AKGs over 10 years without any problems!
- Comfort – AKGs tend to be comfortable though they do vary by model and material used (leather vs leather/pleather vs plastic)
- Ease of use – Some AKG headphones come with wireless connectivity which makes it easier to use without having to deal with wires all over the place as you move around freely while listening to your favorite tunes or watching videos or movies on your mobile devices or computers.
- Microphonics – The cable is too thin and it can easily produce noise when you move around with the headphones on. This can be solved by using an extension cable or better yet, by removing the cable altogether (if possible).
- Sensitivity to moisture – Since these are open back headphones, moisture from sweat can get into them easily. This can damage the drivers over time so it is important to clean them out after every use.
- Poor isolation – Open back headphones do not isolate well at all. They leak sound outwards as much as they let in sound from outside sources (like airplanes).
While AKG headphones are generally a great choice for the money, they are not without their problems. Fortunately, most of these issues are minor and easy to address with a bit of research or troubleshooting.
